US rapper Kanye West has hit out at his former wife, Kim Kardashian, saying that he was put off by the white woman being in control of his Black children.
West was reacting to planned musical collaboration between his 11-year-old daughter, North, and rapper Playboi Carti, 28.
“So Kim got the name and likeness over my Black children”, he wrote on X.
The 24-time Grammy winner added: “So a white woman has control over the name and likeness of my Black children and then speaks to Carti about putting my daughter on a song with him”.
West also wrote that; “These (dumb a ××) celebrities be trying to play with me in my face”.
The 47-year-old musician is the father of four children with Kim Kardashian.
The divorced couple share daughters North, 11, and Chicago, seven, and sons Saint, nine and Psalm, five.
Kimberly Noel Kardashian, 44, is an American media personality, socialite and business woman, previously married to Kris Humphries and Kanye West, both marriages ended in divorce.
She first married to a basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011, but the marriage ended in 2013, after 72 days.
She also married to an American rapper and divorced in 2023.
Kadarshian was declared legally single on March 2, 2022.
She subsequently dropped “West” as her legal last name and ended their marriage, a post-divorce settlement was reached on November 29, 2022.
