The Kwara State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) will on Friday, December 18, 2020 hold a seminar for members and sports stakeholders.
According to a statement signed by Olayinka Owolewa, the Secretary of the association, the Chief Medical Director of Olutayo Hospital, Dr Joseph Adeyemo, will deliver a lecture on the topic: ‘Covid-19 And Emerging Challenges in Sporting World.’
According to the statement, major stakeholders in the state have been invited to grace the occasion and also to benefit from the seminar.
The statement also revealed that the seminar will hold at the Mandate Hall of Radio Kwara, Police Road, GRA, Ilorin, from 9:00 am prompt.
Among those expected at the seminar are the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Mrs Joana Nnazua Kolo, the SA Sports, Mallam Attahiru Ibrahim, Chairmen of Sports Associations, General Managers of Media Houses in the state, the State Director of Sports, Mallam Ibrahim Alarape Atanda, Chairmen of Football Clubs and the Kwara FA, led by Mallam Idris Abdullahi Musa, Players Union, Referees Council, the Red Cross Society and other sports bodies and institutions.
Others are SWAN Patrons Prince Oladimeji Ladi Thompson and Barrister Salihu Bamidele Aluko, Chairman of Kwara United FC, Kumbi Titiloye, the General Manager of the Club, Bashir Badawiy, the Director of Football, ABS Ilorin FC, Alloy Chukwuemeka, Alhaji Toyin Olokoba, Hajia Segilola Alaya and Chief Mrs. Abimbola Olaoye.
