French super striker Kylian Mbappe has now overtaken Thierry Henry to become the second-highest scorer in France’s history, after netting his 52nd International goal.
The Real Madrid forward, at 26 year old, continued to rewrite the record books for Les Bleus, with only Oliver Giroud now ahead of him on the all-time scorers list.
With years still ahead of him, Mbappe latest milestone further cements his status as one of the football’s modern greats – and living legend of French football.

By comparison, Thierry Henry – long regarded as the modern face of French attacking brilliance – needed 123 appearances to hit 52 international goals.
