Former Real Madrid star, Pedrag Mijatovic says Cristiano Ronaldo is unhappy in La Liga.

According to Mijatovic, the Portuguese International enjoys the game more when he plays in the Champions League.

Ronaldo has looked subdued at times this season, particularly in Spain’s top flight, as he has netted just four goals.

Mijatovic told Spanish paper Marca: “The situation needs to be well evaluated at the end of this season.

“These things must be talked about and if he [Ronaldo] is not happy then he has to say so.

“I don’t see Ronaldo as being sad in the Champions League, but I do see it in La Liga.

“That has nothing to do with his wages.

“Maybe he’s just more motivated by the Champions League.”

Real Madrid will battle Deportivo on Saturday in the Spanish league.
