Center of Excellence, Lagos State has recently introduced an Electronic Geographic Information System (e-GIS) for individuals interested in purchasing land.
The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, expressed his satisfaction in a press statement released Friday, 26th January 2016 on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account @jidesanwoolu, stating that Lagos State has reached an advanced stage in land documentation and acquisition through the launch of the e-GIS.
The e-GIS portal is a comprehensive digital platform that aims to streamline and transform the process of acquiring, documenting, and verifying land in Lagos. It serves as a one-stop solution, providing access to digitized information about all the lands in the state prior to making a purchase.
Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the e-GIS portal offers the convenience of verifying, searching, and applying for various land titles, including Governor’s Consent, from the comfort of one’s home with just a few clicks.
