Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state Nigeria has told Lagosians his readiness to build a new World-Class airport in lekki area to boost the state Economic growth.
Tbis development will not doubt affect operations at both Lagos international airport and that of Ikeja local route.
It is a shameful situation to see some states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria lagging behind development while Lagos state government gets ready to begin another Airport in lekki.
Our correspondent reports that Governor Sanwo-Olu is seriously developing Lagos state above what he met as a governor.
There is no doubt Lagosian are happy for him on his economic ideology and developmental policies as 9News Nigeria reports.
This will surely be a challenge to so many Governors who are desirous to destroy their states and put the people on perpetual hardship and fear of insecurity.
Over there in Abia state, Governor Alex Otti is seriously working to make Abians proud and to possibly change the worst record the state incurred at previous administrations. Then, Abia was the least on the development graph.
Similarly good works are needed across the states of the Federation coupled with wide economical and infrastructural growth.
Governor Sanwo-Olu has reassured residents of Lagos of exciting times, exciting moments, great Projects that will provide employment to make comfort for Lagosians.
The Governor added that the lekki Airport in lekki area is going to come on board together with other mega projects his administration has adopted.
The lekki Airport project will run alongside the Mental Health Center in Ketu Ejinrin targetted at tackling the mental health of Lagosians too.
Governor Sanwo-Olu speaking through the commissioner for Information and Strategy said the Lagos state government will focus on completing ongoing projects across the state in this New Year.
Commissioner Omotoso said Governor Sanwo-Olu ‘s “ambitious N2.2tn budget” would be utilized judiciously for infrastructure development among which hospitals and the New lekki Airport would be prioritised.
