Lagos State To Prioritize Food Security, Says Governor Sanwo Olu

Lagos State is committed to prioritizing food security in order to reduce the cost of food commodities in the region, according to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The governor made this statement during the 2023 Lagos Food Festival, held at Muri Okunola Park in Victoria Island. Represented by his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Governor Sanwo-Olu reiterated his administration’s dedication to boosting the agricultural sector.

The governor expressed satisfaction with the large turnout at the event, which he believed exemplified the true spirit of Lagos.
