The commissioning of Lagos rail line has commenced in earnest having His Excellency Governor Sanwo-Olu rated ahead of developmental strides in virtually all the states across the Federation.

Speaking with 9News Nigeria at the commissioning site, Governor Sanwo-Olu stated that embarking on the Lagos Mass Rail Transit (LMRT) Red Line project is more than just enhancing transit; it is about weaving the fabric of our city into a tighter, more connected community.

Sanwo-Olu added that every track laid, every station built, brings us closer to a Lagos where distance no longer dictates destiny.

He further hinted that the LMRT Red Line project is a beacon of progress, illuminating the path to a future where our city moves smoother, faster, and more efficiently.

In his words, “It’s not just about the journey from point A to B, but about how each journey brings us together, making Lagos not just a place to live, but a place to thrive, Governor Sanwo-Olu maintained.
