She knows all the tricks of her entertainment trade like the back of her hand and invents many new ones her rivals never see coming. While others boast loud and long about playing the game, she creates new game for them to play.
Cosmopolitan, composed, urbane, calm, cool, collected, civilised, elegant, graceful, disciplined and God-fearing, her name resonates across the media space like a bugle proclaiming a new dawn. She is a fresh air in a sterile environment, reminding everyone caught in the wind of mundane existence how it feels to be young, passionate, visionary and innovative.

Layole Oyatogun is a multi-hypernate broadcaster, actress, public relations and management guru, red-carpet host and philanthropist. She is the daughter of late veteran broadcaster Walter Oyatogun.
A graduate of mass communication from the University of Lagos, she started her career co-presenting an entertainment show called ‘Star Dust’ with her younger sister Mofe Oyatogun on MITV. She moved to Silverbird Television in 2007, where she worked as a presenter and producer for seven years. While at Silverbird Television, she conceptualised, anchored and produced the Cadbury Breakfast TV Show, Page 3, MBGN Diary, and numerous documentaries, promos, and fillers. She also played a key role in the fashion, organization and selection process of “The Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant” for several years. Her love and passion for film and television paved the way for her to feature as an actress in different films and productions- “30 Days” by Ego Boyo and Mildred Okonkwo, Africa Magic ” Battle Ground”, “Unconditional”, by Uche Jombo,” Mr and Mrs Johnson”, ” U-Turn” by Grace Edwin Okon, “Mad about you by Victor Okpala”, “Pepper Soup”, “Trapped”, “The Inn”, “Along Bothering Lines”, “The Spell”, “When Stars Cross” and many more.
She runs a Public Relations and Management Company (LOPR) where she represents celebrity clients like Iyabo Ojo, Priscy Ojo, Segun Olusemo(Sheggz), and a host of others. She is also a consulting researcher for the hit reality series ” The Real Housewives of Lagos.
A seasoned red-carpet host, with stints at the red carpet of various fashion weeks, home and abroad, including; Mercedes Benz fashion week in Joeburg, Pretoria, and New York. Arise Fashion Week Nigeria, Lagos Fashion and Design Week, Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), amongst others. She was the only red carpet host at the inaugural ball of President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice- President Namadi Sambo in Aso-Rock in 2011.
She has also hosted events such as ; The Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria Pageant (MBGN), Eloy Awards, Africa International Fashion Week, Nigeria’s Next Super Model, City People Awards for Excellence, Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, Luxury Beauty Brunch, Ethan and Harriet Product Launch, Green October Event, Advertisers Association of Nigeria Awards( ADVAN) weddings and many more.
With thousands of followers on Instagram, Layole’s passion for fashion and style is more than just a statement. She is invested in wearing, promoting and growing emerging fashion brands and adding value. She is also loved for adding value with her go- to pronunciation tutorials videos titled” Learn With Layole on Instagram.
She has in her belt the Most Stylish Female Celebrity Award at Lamode Green October Event 2019, she was nominated at the 2012 Nigerian Broadcasters Award in the category” Most promising and young presenter of the year”, also at the 2013 Eloy Awards in the “Female TV Presenter of the year category.

Ordinarily, these terms are used as exaggerations, but on her occasion, they could even be said to be understatements. She bore the aura of a woman transformed as she happily exhibited her joy while lapping up the adulation of her loved ones who praised her to high heavens for having the courage and presence of mind to achieve such mouth-watering and commendable project during turbulent times. Speaker after speaker took turns to eulogize the screen diva who triggers minor earthquake online anytime she steps out. It provided an opportunity for her family, friends and associates to pay glowing tributes in moving superlatives and catching adjectives.
The above abruptly captures the chief reason while the berthing of Layole’s Lounge a fashion reality Tv show in Lekki, Lagos on Monday, May 1, 2023 was electrifying and celebrity studded. For the informed, Layole’s Lounge is the brainchild of media entrepreneur and actor Layole Oyatogun.
The event compered by comedian Ushbebe and presenter Chioma Agwunobi, kicked off with red carpet interviews by 5pm. The red carpet saw media and nollywood heavyweights with front cover worthy intimidating outfits air their minds about the attention to details and top-notch preparation given to the event. She was subsequently ushered in the well decorated and captivating hall laced with heavenly ambience in an entrance that could pass for Presidential Arrival.
The event officially commenced with an opening prayer said by Pastor Felix of House On The Rock church, Lekki. It was preceded with grass to grace story of how the celebrant hugged stardom. It was an emotional moment watching the display. The high point of the occasion was the fashion parade displayed by the celebrant and her celebrity friends to the applause and standing ovation of the audience. The roll call of the celebrities include: Iyabo Ojo, Eniola Badmus, Usbebe, Chioma Good hair, Linda Osifo, Spellz, VJ Adams, Lilian Afegbai, Pretty Mike, Dr Rommel Asagwara, Priscilla Ojo, Faith Morey and many more
The occasion reached crescendo when the screen goddess was ushered to the podium to go around the process that gave birth to the Lounge and the solution it seeks to provide.
Whilst that was going on, intercontinental dishes and varieties of drinks were served to the guests to their satisfaction in what could be forgiven for a Presidential dinner.
The atmosphere already charged, guests seized the temperature to support and trend the event #Layole’s Lounge.
Going by the event which paralysed social, print and broadcast media, one could easily say Layole Oyatogun is a global brand and icon. Layole’s Lounge which will be aired on DSTV and other platforms on Saturdays by 2:30pm promises to be one in a billion. It will surely be the viewers delight.
