Heritage Polytechnic, a private tertiary institution in Eket LGA of Akwa Ibom State since yesterday tops the headlines on most major news sites not for teaching and learning, but as one of its lecturer, George Nathan Brown of the Department of Mass Communication, proposed to one of his students on Friday.
According to social media reports, the lady is a year 2 student of Mr. Brown department
In his post, he said, ” I didn’t plan it, God planned it”. He said that God made the choice for him and we are going to wed just immediately.
George Nathan Brown was a distinction student who was later employed by the management of the polytechnic as a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication.
He is currently a pastor in one of the Pentecostal Churches in Eket, Holy Ghost Ministries, Eket Akwa Ibom State.
Obviously seen in the pictures, the lecturer was accompanied by two of his colleagues, Mr Samuel A. Etifit and Ubong Andem Obong.
