Bayern Munich striker and captain of the Polish national football team, Robert Lewandowski, has been voted the best European sportsman of 2020 by press agencies.
Twenty-five agencies took part in the 2020 edition of the survey conducted by the Polish Press Agency and Lewandowski scored 180 points to claim first place, four points ahead of the 2019 winner and British Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton. Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis is third.
