In a courtesy visit to the governor of Imo state senator Hope Uzodinma by IKEDURU LOCAL GOVERNMENT Stakeholders, GOVERNOR Uzodinma has Promised to make Ikeduru Local Government an Oil producing community.
Led by a well known and respected Igbo statesman, Engineer IWUANYAWU, the Stakeholder reassured their readiness to make proud of Governor Hope Uzodimma which Imo people should be grateful and thankful to God.
Ikeduru stakeholders today had audience with Governor Hope Uzodimma, assuring him of their unflinching support.
9News Nigeria Government house correspondent reports that the delegation comprised of the Apc leaders in Ikeduru and notable APC stalwarts to include Chief Charles Amadi, Dr. Uzoma Obiyo, Chief Jude Opara and Chief IWUANYAWU amongst many others.
Our correspondent reports that the meeting was targeted to show solidarity to the Governor and requested for the attention of Government to Improve their area.
While in the meeting,, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu eulogized Governor Hope Uzodimma for his giant strides in developing the State, reiterating that Imo people should be proud of him for being amongst the very few leaders who has honured his social contract with the people.
“Hope has supported the Igbos too much, he has become a bridge between the Igbos and the North” Chief Iwuanyanwu added.
Responding, Governor Hope Uzodimma appreciated Ikeduru stakeholders for coming to identify with him, adding that his administration is working out modalities to ensure that the Oil deposits in the Local Government is maximized for the good of the people and the state at large.
We were told that IKEDURU has oil deposits in the Local Government which if maximized will improve both the LGA and the state at large.
