The people of Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo state Nigeria has hailed the Majority Leader Imo House Of Assembly Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi for a successful hosting of the crowds of sympathisers and family relatives of Maazi Sabinus Ogbonna’s.
The burial took place Friday December 15th, 2023 in Oforola ward one in OWERRI West local government area of Imo state.
The burial ceremony of Late Maazi Sabinus Ogbonna of Oforola Owerri West was well attended by creme of notable political stalwarts in the area.
The Majority Leader IMHA Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi (Egbe) was highly applauded for such a red carpet reception he gave at the burial event in Oforola.
The burial occasion was well organized by a well-to-do burial committee set up by the leadership of OWERRI WEST to see to it’s success. No doubt the burial was like a unity gathering of who is who in Owerri West and in extension OWERRI Federal constituency.
The burial having recorded creme of personalities from all works of life, leaders from OWERRI WEST trooped out en-masse to give the late Sabinus a deserving burial.
While speaking with our correspondent at the burial, many leaders who spoke to us in anonymousness stated that the Majority Leader IMHA Kanayo Onyemaechi is truly a man to identify with on various obvious reasons including his legislative prowess.
Honourable Members of the State House of Assembly were in full attendance to console their fellow member in the person of Kanayo Onyemaechi over the death of his uncle, which included the Deputy Speaker, the Clerk of the House, the Chief Whip among others.
Egbe Eji Eje Ogu told the crowd the pains he bears in such a vacuum created by the demise of Ndaa Sabinus Ogbonna was unbearable and still a shock in his mind till date.
Onyemaechi wholeheartedly thanked God for providing the resources and clement weather that gave a successful outing of the burial of the late Sabinus, a deserving burial ceremony.
While thanking everyone that attended the burial, Majority Leader IMHA Kanayo Onyemaechi prayed God to grant each and everyone a journey mercy and a merry Christmas in advance.
