Majority Leader IMHA, State APC Chairman Alongside Top Government Functionaries Were Present At Women Grand Finale Event In Owerri

Imo State of Nigeria was agog by the occasion of the Grand Finale of Imo Women August meeting held at Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square Owerri.

The Majority Leader IMHA Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi alongside his Honourable colleagues were present to show solidarity to Imo women.

In simple terms ,the majority leader thanked the organisers of this year’s event and charged Imo women to mobilize for the upcoming November Governorship Election to give APC a landslide Victory.

Our correspodent reports that, Imo First Lady Bar Chioma Uzodinma showed immense capacity and good representation to have mobilized such crowd of Imo women at this year’s state August meeting through the party Leadership.

The event was focused on solidifying the unity of women in the recent day socio- political activities and encouraging leadership roles among women. Chioma Uzodinma reminded the women of their responsibilities as role models both in their respective families and the state at large.

The turn out of women from the 27 Local Government Areas of the state was massive and commendable and no doubt added to the improvement of the Socio-Political and cultural values of the state.

Her Excellency, Lady Oluremi Tinubu CON took the center stage to appreciate Imo women and the Government of Imo state for creating such avenue to showcase the yet untapped values women are made of.

While presenting her speech as the special guest of honour, Oluremi Tinubu noted that such yearly gathering improves the unity and strength of the women while appreciating the warm welcome by Imo state government at the occasion.

Further, Senator Oluremi charged the women to support the Uzodinma’s led government and make sure they turn out en- masse at various polling booths across the wards to vote for All Progressives Congress in the November 11 Guber Election to enable the Governor do more work for the state.

She reassured the Federal Government Commitment under her husband and the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to supporting Imo in both developmental projects and massive empowerment of it’s women.

It was a home coming for Imo women at the grand reception to have trooped out happily in their magnificent colours and ambience to celebrate their day. Alot of side attractions like special dance, Match-Pass and presentations were successful recorded at the event as 9News Nigeria reports.

Recall that the Imo State Governor, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma, had earlier welcomed President Tinubu’s wife Oluremi, applauded Imo women and sent out a take home message that Imo state government will continue to maintain its commitment and cordiality with the Federal Government to bring rapid development back home.

The State APC Chairman, Hon Macdonald Ebere was not left out in the picture of yesterday’s event of Imo women. He pleaded with Imo women to come out on the day of Election and vote for Governor Hope Uzodinma, so that the the infrastructural development in the state will continue unhinged”

Our correspodent also spotted the state APC woman Leader in the state, who stated that Imo women are keen to vote Governor Hope Uzodinma on November Governorship election.
