A 41-year-old man, Sunday Ngwu , has allegedly killed his wife in their home at Ikwo Street, Ibollo, Awada, in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra state.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Mr.
Haruna Mohammed, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that the suspect who hails from Nkanu LGA of Enugu State, allegedly killed his 39- year-old wife after hitting her with a heavy metal object on the head
Mohammed also said that a team from divisional police Awada arrested the suspect.
In a similar incidence, Naija News had reported a 30-year-old man in Niger state who killed his wife because she planned to re-marry after his death.
