Man arrested for allegedly killing friend over N3m debt

The Kano State Police Command has arrested one Sadiq Jibril who k!lled his friend, Bello Adamu over his failure to help the victims secure a job after receiving the sum of N3 million.

Sadiq Jibril, has confessed to k!lling his friend and colleague, Bello Bukar Adamu, over a debt of N3 million.

The suspect narrated how he conspired with two others to lure Adamu to his house, where he tied him up and hit him with sticks and sharp iron until he became motionless.

“I hit him in my house”, Sadiq confessed during preliminary investigation. Adamu brother, Abdullahi Abubakar, had reported him missing after he received an urgent call from Sadiq.

Two days later his corpse was found in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State.

He confessed that he had deceitfully collected N3 million from Adamu on the pretext of securing a job for him.

However, he realized he had no means of returning the money and hire two men to help k!ll him.
