A man is in hospital after he was found in Sydney’s south-west suffering from a stab wound as police attempt to piece together how he received the injury.
Emergency services were called to Wilson Crescent, Narellan, around 9.20pm yesterday after receiving reports a man had been injured outside a home.
The 24-year-old victim was treated for a stab wound to his shoulder by paramedics at the scene and then taken to Liverpool Hospital for further care.
He remains in a stable condition.
Police from the Camden Local Area Command are now trying to ascertain how the man sustained the injury.
Initial inquires suggest he was injured at a different location to where he was found, but authorities do not know how or where he incurred the stab wounds.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
