Man stabs wife to death in Adamawa after she seized his phone

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 33-year-old man identified as Ibrahim Abubakar, for stabbing to death his 25-year-old wife, Hajara Sa’adu.

The suspect who is a butcher and a resident of Sabon Gari Futy in Girei Local Government Area, Adamawa State, subdued the deceased, by stabbing her severally with a sharp knife on her back, thereby causing her severe injuries and leaving her in a pool of blood.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, noted that the suspect brutally murdered the deceased on April 8, 2024 at about 4:30am, after he accused her of taking away his phone, which led to little argument.
