Mass Burial In Yobe Following Boko-Haram Deadly Attack

There has been a mass burial in Yobe State on Tuesday, following a deadly terrorist attack, suspected to be carried out by Boko-Haram insurgents.

About 127 were reportedly killed and buried in Tarmuwa local government area of the state, where the attack occurred.

The funeral prayer was done in the afternoon at Babangida town, the headquarters of Tarmuwa.

However, the attack was launched at Mafa ward, where 40 of the victims were later buried after the funeral prayer, while 87 were buried in Babangida.

The attack was carried out on Sunday evening, when the terrorists stormed the town on motorcycles.

According to sources, the terrorist were mounted on over 50 motorcycles.

In addition to the killings, they also set ablaze many shops and houses.

Several injuries of various degrees were also reported.
