Earlier today Tuesday August 16-08-2022, Governor Uzodinma stormed Mbaise Nation for their yearly Iri Ji festival.
At the occasion the people went agog in excitement when the governor was concerned a Chieftaincy Title of ENYIOHA MBAISE amidst crowds of dignitaries from the zone.
Uzodinma however felicitated with the good people of Mbaise Nation (Aboh, Ahiazu and Ezinihite) at home and in diaspora and gave them a goodwill message in solidarity On the auspicious occasion of Iri ji Mbaise 2022.
While appreciating the title conferred on him, Imo governor stated that the development of Mbaise, as well as other component parts of Imo State, is of paramount importance to the industrialization drive and with the flagged-off construction of the economic important Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia road, the Government is seriously on course towards the actualization of this feat.
While praying that this year’s Iri ji Mbaise festival shall guarantee bountiful harvest, the governor reassured the people of the completion of this all-important road project, other projects in Mbaise Nation and across the State within record time.
