The Member representing Askira-Uba/Hawul Federal Constituency, Hon. Midala Usman Balami, has facilitated federal government appointments for more than 70 indigenes across health institutions, security agencies and federal ministries.
In an official announcement from his office, Balami congratulated the successful candidates and said the appointments were secured through his office “with collaboration and support from those close and far.”
He described the development as a testament to the beneficiaries’ hard work and dedication.
He also wished them “a successful, fulfilling, and impactful career in service to our great nation.”
A large number of the beneficiaries were posted to the Federal Orthopedic Hospital, Azare, where Balami secured placements for more than 30 constituents.
The new health workers include men and women from across Askira-Uba/Hawul who will now serve in various capacities at the hospital.
In the security sector, Balami also facilitated the recruitment of over a dozen constituents into the Nigeria Police Force.
Others gained entry into the Ministry of Interior through the CDCFIB.Some were also enlisted as Nigerian Army recruits.
Another constituent was employed into the Federal Road Safety Corps.
The education and information sectors were not left out.
Two constituents secured appointments at a University Teaching Hospital.
Another was employed at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN.
Balami said the exercise is part of a deliberate effort to create sustainable jobs and open doors for growth in the constituency.
“As your representative, I remain steadfast in my commitment to creating and facilitating more opportunities for our people,” he said.
“I will continue working tirelessly to ensure that many more constituents secure sustainable employment and meaningful opportunities for growth and development,” he added.
He noted that the process is ongoing.”It is an ongoing effort and by the Grace of God many will benefit,” he stated.
“Slow and steady win the race,” Balami added.
The lawmaker urged all beneficiaries to serve with diligence and integrity.
He noted that their success reflects well on Askira-Uba/Hawul Federal Constituency.
Residents have welcomed the appointments as a significant intervention for youth employment in the area.
