Mothering Sunday: Governor Uzodinma Showered Prayers On Imo Women

Imo state governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has called on mothers to embrace good virtues and show examplary lifestyle to their children to make a comfortable and better society where good leadership will flourish.

This statement was made on Sunday 27-03-2022 at a mothering Sunday service to celebrate Imo mothers and the entire womenhood. Her Excellency Chioma Uzodinma was present interfacing with the women.

9News Nigeria reports that Uzodinma has been caring Imo women along in is leadership and has promised to make them smile with the Government policies on Development of women and the state in general.

In his words, “Today, I join the people of goodwill all over the world to celebrate our mothers.

“Unarguably, mothers remain the major cultivators of moral rectitude which engineers the world for a better society.

The governor re-assured the women that as a government, they have implemented policies and programs aimed at improving the welfare of mothers vis-a-vis the reactivation of Primary Healthcare Services at the grassroots thereby reducing the Maternity Mortality Rate while offering quality POST-PARTUM care to our mothers.

While stating that his administration will continue to promote universally acceptable policies and programs that would offer suitable welfare for our mothers, GOVERNOR Hope Uzodinma prayed for a happy Mother’s Day to our amazing mothers across the 27 LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS of the state and in the diaspora.

He also offered prayers to those women in difficult situations and the less privileged while promised to keep extending to such groups of women through the appropriate Ministry.
