The Federal Government has announced the appointment of a new Head for the Office of the Civil Service of the Federation in Nigeria.
The announcement which was made through a statement from the office of the Special Adviser to the President, Chief Ajuri Ngelale on Tuesday stated that the incumbent Head of Service, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, will be retiring on 13th August, 2024 and as such, Mrs. Walson-Jack would be taking over the job on the 14th August, 2024.
Before this appointment, Mrs. Walson-Jack had worked in several Ministries as Permanent Secretary between 2017 when she was appointed as Permanent Secretary and date.
In the release by Ngelale, Mr. President thanked Dr. Folasade Esan for her stewardship and charged the incoming Head of Service to discharge her duties with innovative flair, integrity and stringent adherence to the extent rules and regulations of the Civil Service of the Federation.
