Nigerian journalist and media professional Gbenga Odunsi has been named a partner at Crestfield Publishing Group, bringing more than 10 years of experience in journalism, digital media, and editorial leadership to the company, and marking a further expansion of his involvement in the media and publishing sector.

Founded in 2016, the company has positioned itself as a growing player in Nigeria’s media industry, providing content solutions for businesses, institutions, and authors, while also exploring digital news opportunities.
Odunsi’s appointment comes shortly after his nomination to the editorial board of Westbridge Media & Publishing Limited, another media-focused company operates across online media, print publishing, and policy-focused research. He is involved in strategic direction and editorial development in the media establishment.. His growing presence across both organisations reflects a broader engagement with media entrepreneurship and publishing in Nigeria.
With a background spanning editorial leadership roles in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, Odunsi is expected to contribute to Crestfield’s strategic growth, content quality, and expansion into new markets. He has previously served as Deputy Editor, at Aljazirah Nigeria; acting editor, at News Express; editor, at Information Nigeria, and has held editorial roles at Scottish Field magazine and Travel Radar in the UK.
Media practitioners say that his experience in newsroom management, digital media, and content strategy could support Crestfield’s ambitions to scale its publishing operations and strengthen its positioning in both traditional and digital formats.
