Grammy award winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has shared a profound reflection on life, relationships, and enduring bond between a mother and her child.

In a statement, Burna Boy highlighted the transient nature of many relationships in life while emphasizing the irreplaceable role of his mother in his journey.

“If I die today, my girlfriend will find another man she loves and marry in less than one year. My record label will sign another artist in less than 24 hours and use the money my music makes to promote him. The people I call friends today will make new friends and be happier without me. But you see my mom? She can never have another Burna Boy” the artist stated; drawing attention to the singular importance of his mother in his life.

Known for his emotional depth both in his music and public statements, Burna Boy continued by explaining why he prioritizes his mother, Bose Ogulu, in all aspects of life.

“That’s the reason I give her everything while I’m here because I know she has only me. I’m her son”, he added.

The message resonated deeply with fans and follower, sparking discussions about the fleeting nature of fame and the importance of family.

The artist’s mother, Bose Ogulu, who also serves as his manager, has played a pivotal role in his career.

Popularly known as “Mama Burna”, she has been instrumental in shaping his global success while maintaining a close personal bond with her son.

BurnaBoy’s heartfelt statement has inspired conversations, with fans reflecting on their personal relationships and the importance of cherishing loved ones while they are alive.

This candid revelation adds another layer to the artist’s public persons, reminding fans that beyond the glitz and glamour, the remains deeply grounded in family values and relationships.
