The Naira appreciated on Monday at the official market, trading at 1,531.19 Naira to a dollar.
Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, website showed that the Naira gained 5.70 Naira.
This represents a 0.37 per cent gain when compared to the 1,536.89 Naira per dollar recorded on Friday, March 21.
The Naira also experienced slight volatility the previous week, recording two days of losses on Thursday and Friday, March 20 and 21, to close the week negatively.
