Founder of the Resurrection Praise Ministry, Worldwide, Archbishop Samson Benjamin has called for a review of the time frame for which election petition matters were determined.

He made the call when he paid the Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi a visit at the Enugu Government house, Enugu.

The cleric further hailed the governor over his recent victory at the Supreme Court which affirmed his position as the duly elected governor of the state.

Archbishop Benjamin who stated that he was in the state to see the governor with the aim of furthering the peace moves already begun between the governor and Sen Ayogu Eze, who challenged the governor’s election, expressed joy that both men were working towards mending the gap between them.

Speaking further, he called on the National Assembly to push for a law that would ensure that the time between when an election is conducted, and the time any case arising from the election is settled does not exceed one month.
