With the approval of His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, the new moon of Ramadan has been sighted in several locations across Nigeria.
As a result, the first day of Ramadan 1446 will be observed on Saturday, March 1st, 2025.
His Eminence is expected to deliver his customary nationwide broadcast, to officially announced the commencement of the holy month.
Muslims across the country are expected to begin their fasting and spiritual observances as Ramadan begins.
