NGF Pays Solidarity Visit To General IBB and Abdulsalam Over Insecurity In Niger State
The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) delegation led by Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi who were in Niger State to pay a solidarity visit to Abubakar Bello, governor of Niger State over the insecurity in the state also visited former Heads of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar and General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida in their Hilltop residence in Minna.
The delegation commiserated with former military presidents over the recent abductions in the state as a result of the activities of bandits.
They assured General Ibrahim Babangida and General Abdulsalam Abubakar that the Forum is solidly behind the people of Niger State and will render the state government all the needed support and encouragement to ensure that the problem is solved.
The NGF delegation commended them for their fatherly role in the nation and also commended Governor Sani Bello for his effort to secure the release of those abducted and President Muhammadu Buhari for his support in the fight against banditry, especially the supply of Police forces to Niger State
