NIGERIA at 64: Plateau Governor Mutfwang pardons 5 persons serving Jail terms

Plateau State Governor Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has granted pardon to five persons serving jail terms.

He made this known in a state broadcast on Tuesday October 1st, on the occasion of the Country 64th Independence anniversary.

He said; “In exercise of my Prerogative of Mercy as enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and inline with the recommendation of the Plateau State Advisory Council on Prerogative of Mercy, I have granted pardon to five persons after serving various terms and have signifiicantly demonstrated good conduct over the years”.
