Holy Trinity Anglican Church HTC Nekede Owerri, Imo state Nigeria holds her mothering Sunday celebration on Sunday dated 14-03-2021at the church premises in Owerri.
In a letter released to 9News NIGERIA, this year’s theme is captioned “Take this child and Nurse for me” Exodus 21-10.
The cleric extolled the women to hold unto God for their survival.
The lessons, quite scheduled for the book of Luke 23:1-25 and Exodus 24:1- end, Exodus 2:9, Mother’s were told to believe God and put every best effort to establish their home.
This passage of the scripture shows that compassion, love and care both to biological and non- biological children are women’s second nature.
Mother’s and yet-to- be mums all over the world were therefore urged to show love, care, and compassion to both the biological and non biological children including children of the extended families.
Meanwhile, Women all over were employed to show better affection and love on the waiting ie..housemaids and house boys.
Despite the horrible fear of the covid-19 pandemic, it is the wishes of the mothers of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church HTC Nekede to celebrate his lordship, Bishop Geoffrey Okoroafor and wife Mummy Ngozi Chima Okoroafor, Mrs Chinedum Azubike (Mama HTC) and the vicar Venerable Solomon Azubuike and the entire women on this special mother’s day celebration.
The event featured, awards of recognition to prominent persons and daughters all over the world, prayers by the women, cutting of cake, Recognition, offering in support of mothers.

The mother’s day celebration was a top notch while asking the Government to take proper care of Imo and NIGERIAN WOMEN.
