After social media users, friends, well wishers and family intervened to persuade Ayomide Adeagbo @AyomideAdeagbo to change his mind and not take his own life, he heeded and came back to his senses.
Six hours after he tweeted: “Today is my last day on earth, I guess it’s good to say goodbye to planet earth,” Ayomide has come back on his Twitter account to reassure concerned Nigerian netizens that he has chosen to live other than taking his own life.
He tweeted: “I was overwhelmed. I wasn’t thinking straight. I was scared, so scared to the extent of wanting to take my own life, life that I can’t give 😞 I am alive. I am doing perfectly okay. I am worth way more! “
