A man yet to be fully identified by 9News Nigeria Asian correspondent has been arrested by the Malaysian Authority and charged for cultism and public disorder in the Asian country.
According to information made available to 9News Nigeria, the man who was alternatively known as Banks was arrested after reports of their nefarious activities were lodged at the Special Criminal Investigation Department of the Malaysian Police, Dan Wangi Police.
He was declared wanted since October 2021 before he was arrested after police received a tip-off of his whereabouts.
While he was declared wanted, he continued to carry out numerous criminal activities which include kidnap and cultism.
He and his gang attempted to kidnap another Nigerian who managed to escape after resisting the gang for minutes while they tried to force him into the car.
With the help of CCTV coverage of the kidnap attempt, he was tracked and arrested by the Malaysian police.
