This Nigerian man jumped to his death from 8th storey of a high rise building in Dubai.

The man known as Kaka Ifeanyi was said to have jumped from a Dubai skyscraper residential building in the bid to escape arrest by Dubai immigration.

9News Nigeria learnt that the deceased had lived in Dubai but did not have valid residential permit. He was also said to have overstayed his visa in Dubai.

Dubai immigration officers raided the residential building in order to fish out foreigners who have overstayed their visa. As a result of the raid, the deceased was said to have panicked and jumped through the window from the 8th floor of the skyscraper.

The incident took place on the 13th of November 2019 according to report reaching 9News Nigeria.

As at the time of this report, 9News Nigeria have not confirmed the real credentials of the deceased and his state of origin. However, our reporters have followed up with investigations in order to ascertain the real identity of the deceased.
