England-born Nigerian winger Rinsola Babajide has been nominated for Liverpool Women’s Player Of The Season for 2019-20.
Liverpool announced the nominees on their official website.
Fans of the club are expected to vote for the most outstanding player who featured for the first team across the campaign eligible.
The fans’ votes will be equally combined with nominations by members of the Club’s official Former Players Association, Forever Reds, to determine the winner – which will be revealed on Liverpoolfc.com soon.
Babajide, 22, who joined Liverpool on 25th January 2018, was the Red’s joint-second WSL goalscorer in the 2019/20 season.
She was part of the England U-20s squad that claimed bronze at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
However, She could still represent Nigeria due to her Nigerian roots.
