The Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, says the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has made life easier for citizens without compromising national security.
Tunji-Ojo disclosed this at the Ministerial Press Briefing in Abuja on Thursday, March 20.
According to him, the government has improved passport issuance, border security, and conditions of service.
He said that the government has established 21st century border control centre in the Nigeria Immigration Service, a visa issuance centre, and the centralization of passport issuance.
He added that with Nigeria’s border security architect, no criminal can enter Nigeria without being apprehended.
“That is why the government came up with peculiar allowances provided equipment and insurance for officers.
“Paramilitary officers will tell you that you are better off today than many years back”, he said.
