The Director of Atiku Support Group, known as Atikukawai Media Group, Abban Atiku has said the Peoples Democratic Party belongs to everyone and not to a particular group of people.
He made this statement while reacting to the ongoing internal crisis that is rocking the opposition party in a Twitter post on Friday.
He said nobody should be seen as being above the interest of the party and urged the party’s elders to meet all the different camps and resolve their differences diplomatically.
Abban Atiku said, “Nobody is above anybody in the PDP and the Party belongs to everyone and not any individual. We must set things right.
“We need Wike and his camp to win the election, so also Ayu, Adamu Maina Waziri, Sule Lamido, Tambuwal, and the rest of the PDP members and stalwarts to win the election.
“Atiku as a candidate needs the support of the majority of Nigerians and not even those in the PDP alone.
“In this internal crisis, I won’t take sides because both factions have their valid reasons.
