Chairman, Northern Governor’s Forum (NGF) and Governor Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong has showered encomium to Africa’s business mogul, Aliko Dangote, describing him as a source of pride to the Northern Region, Nigeria, Africa and the World.
Lalong said the success of Dangote has impacted the lives of the citizens positively and contributed greatly to the Nation.
The Chairman NGF also commended Dangote for maintaining his vision of industrializing Nigeria and Africa as well as ensuring that the Nation’s economy is developed in line with the abundant human and natural endowments of Nigeria which are normally underutilized.
Governor Lalong said the Northern governors are particularly excited about the role that the industrialist has played and continue to play in creating jobs and also fighting unemployment in the country.
The Forum cherishes the goodwill and solidarity that Dangote has extended to States individually and collectively through direct investments in the local economy as well as his philanthropic intervention to the indigent, particularly victims of the crisis in the region who are displaced or traumatized.
The Northern Governor’s Forum (NGF) wishes the celebrant, many more years of good health and God’s blessings and protection, urging him to continue with his landmark of investment activities such as the refinery which is expected to contribute significantly to Nigeria’s development.
