National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has declared that Nigeria is safer today than it was two years ago, citing significant reductions in Boko Haram attacks, banditry, and communal violence, especially, across the northern region.

“In Benue, over 5,000 people lost their lives within the same period”, Ribadu said.
He concluded by affirming the government’s commitment’s to national security.
“Nigeria is safer today than it was 2 years ago, and we are seeing the dividends of coordinated and disciplined security architecture”.
