Few moments ago, South East Governors Met with the National Security Adviser, NSA Nuhu Ribadu to chat more strategic measures and visible plans to combat Insecurity and criminality in the South Eastern Nigeria.
Imo State Governor and the Chairman of governor’s Forum, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma with his team have intensified efforts in making sure the lives and properties of Imolites and South Eastern zone are safe and secured ,9News Nigeria reports.
Inline with the outcome of the South East Governors meeting with the National security adviser to President Tinubu, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, it is expected to see calm and maximum security in the land.
The Governors have expressed worries over the insecurity situation in the South East Region and Nigeria at large, stressing that the situation will be reduced by the recent efforts put in place by government.
Uzodinma has maintained that every necessary measure must be considered and applied in our efforts to stabilise the security of the South East Region.
Consequent upon this is that the South East Governors held a security meeting with the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu MNI and Service Chiefs.
Their discussions cut across safety measures to be implemented in order to restore tranquility and economic activities across the region. Imo is not left behind.
The have assured that the dignity and pride of the people must be restored and that they are leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of the restoration of maximum and efficient security intelligence across the South East Region.
