The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command has arrested three suspects for alleged vandalism and burglary in different operations in the state.

The State Commandant of the Corps, Mr Bala Bawa-Bodinga, disclosed this in a press briefing on Thursday in Kano.

He said the arrests were made following intensified operations by the Corps to curb the activities of vandals and other criminal elements across the state.

Bawa-Bodinga said the suspects who specialised in burgling houses were apprehended at Danbatta, Fagge, and Tarauni Local Government Areas.

He said the exhibits recovered include nine mobile phones, one bicycle, three standing fans, three solar panels, and one flat screen television.

He said that the case had been thoroughly investigated and that the suspects would soon be charged to court.

The commandant reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to protecting Critical National Assets and Infrastructure (CNAI), as well as safeguarding the lives and property of residents in the state.

He urged members of the public to continue to report suspicious movements and activities of criminal elements to security agencies for prompt action.
