NUJ MEDIA SUMMIT HOLDS AT ROCKVIEW HOTELS OWERRI, TUESDAY 10 AM

Nigeria union of Journalists NUJ Imo state chapter will hold its 2021 media summit on tuesday dated 25-05-2021 at rockview hotel Owerri Imo state NIGERIA.

This is unconnected to the factional disintegration and misunderstanding bedevilling the union.

Information revealed to 9News Nigeria in Owerri was that this summit is an all inclusive media parley targeted at uniting all lingering crises in the NUJ within its members.

In a release signed by the Chairman and secretary of the committee, Emma Odibo and Eze Adiku hinted that the outing will be a one day summit with the Theme: “THE MEDIA AS A CATALYST FOR REALIZATION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”

The chairman of the occasion will be the VC, federal university of technology FUTO, Professor Francis Eze while his Excellency Professor Babaganar Zulum, governor of Borno state, Professor Anya O. Anya, former DG, Nigerian Economic summit and Dr Leo Stan Eke of Zinox computers will present papers on various topics during the summit.

There will be Presentation of NUJ awards to notable Dignitaries including the president of NUJ, chief chris ISIGUZO among others.

The release futher stated that the governor of Imo state Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma will be invested as the grand patron of Imo NUJ while HRM Eze EMMANUEL OKEKE will lead the council of Ndi Eze to the event.
