The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has fixed Monday, September 8, 2025, as the commencement date of the registration of prospective corps members in the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 11.
The management disclosed this in a statement released on its official X handle on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
While the scheme confirmed the opening day, it did not indicate when the registration exercise will close.
The announcement comes as thousands of Nigerian graduates prepare for the mandatory one-year national service program, which deploys youths across the country to promote unity and integration.
Established in 1973 under General Yakubu Gowon, the NYSC has remained a key institution for fostering post-civil war reconciliation, nation-building, and youth development.
The scheme continues to serve as a platform for graduates to contribute to national growth while gaining valuable experience.
