What makes me think that I’m best for the position of The President of dear Association NASTES??
First I like to reflect on the sayings of plato , he said and I quote “A portfolio does not make a leader, a leader makes the portfolio”. As a well tailored and cultured and oriented comrade who have been in the field of struggle for the past 8 years, i see myself wel experienced to steer the affairs of our Association. I’ve heard several positions In the students constituency before , Such as National Association of Polytechnic students students (NAPS), West African Polytechnic Students Union (WAPSU) among others.
Academically I’m gallant and only a few my equals can outshine me.( My G.p would prove that in due time) I read everyday to grow academically. Cos a leader said and I quote the brain of a non Learner will rust and grow metal cob web.
I understand students struggle and leadership so well that I’ve come to understand and agree that Leadership is not by gerullousity or wooligalism but by constructive and diplomatic handling of situations that gives the ability jaged in the mix of animalistic Orubebe.
How will I increase the awareness and significance of my position to a wide range of students and what do I bring to the table??
Well, I’m not aspiring to become popular among other students, I’m aspiring to lay a landmark, Cos a man who plants a tree does not plant it for today , he plants it for posterity.
I assure you that if I emerge as the President of our most prestigious constituency, I’ll ensure ACADEMIC excellence by focusing on the 3 point agenda in this regard
I’ll ensure the resuscitation of the social life of our dear Students constituency
I’ll ensure our welfarism is taken with no levity hand
To mention just a few of my already itemized agendas with already mapped out strategies coupled with many years experience
