Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested one Imoleayo Adekoya for allegedly forcefully having sex with a 27-year-old lady, name withheld.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.
According to the statement, 33-year-old Adekoya reportedly dragged the victim to an isolated area after accusing her of not greeting him and raped her.
Oyeyemi said the suspect was arrested on Saturday following a report lodged by the victim at the Sakora divisional police headquarters, Sagamu.
He said the lady complained that while she was coming from the Ipoji area in Sagamu, she was accosted by the suspect, who accused her of not greeting him.
