Ogun State is set to begin the long-overdue reconstruction of the access road leading to the Federal University of Medicine and Medical Science.
The project, located in Ajibayo Village, will be undertaken in collaboration with the federal government.
In a statement issued on Monday 10, February 2025, the state government reiterated its commitment to strengthening the healthcare sector by improving road networks, upgrading Primary Health Care Centers, and supporting key institutions such as the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abeokuta.
As part of these efforts, Ogun State has welcomed Dr. Dayo Israel as the newly appointed Board Chairman of FMC, Abeokuta.
The government also expressed optimism about collaborating with Dr. Israel and other stakeholders to enhance healthcare delivery across the state.
The project aims to improve accessibility to the institution and enhance infrastructure in the surrounding area.
