Over the weekend, Okemiri Stephen Kamalu was decorated with Nze Traditional Title by His Royal Highness Eze Morison SJ Eke, Omadike of Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community in Owerri West local government area of Imo state Nigeria.
The title conferred on him is Okemiri Ikedinobi 1 of Nekede amidst crowds of notable personalities, traditional council of Nze, the Chiefs, political appiontees and community leaders.

The event featured alot of dignitaries across all works of life which included community leaders, Traditional prime minister-Oke Nze Aharanwa, Ndi Nze, council of chiefs, Umuoma Royal cabinet, Umuoma Peoples Assembly, Women and youth groups, notable age grades, inlaws, various clubs and dance groups.
The celebrants Nze Stephen Ihejeto Kamalu- Okemiri Ikedinobi 1 of Umuoma Nekede, and his darling wife, Lolo Akudo Kamalu whose coronation took place at the palace of Eze Omadike expressed happiness for such an honour done on him.
Recall that his Nze coronation came many years after the last crop of Nzes in Nekede were initiated into the order.
