It is indeed unbelievable in the minds of those who had wished Abia state government under Ikpeazu the worst developmental milestones in Nigeria that the governor is hellbent on leaving behind him an excellent record.

On this therefore, Honorable Commisioner for Trade & Investment has announced the immediate approval of the construction of few projects in the state today 19-01-2023, 9News Nigeria reports.

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the immediate reconstitution of the Ohiya Industrial Cluster, Umuahia, Market Committee, as follows:

Chairman- Ugochikwu Efem


Vice Chairman-Chief Chibuike Onyeoma Nwoke

2nd Vice Chairman-Chief Chidubem Kalu

Secretary-Mr Ikechukwu Umuezuruike

Chief Security Officer-Mr Chidiebere Okeke

Chief TaskForce-Mr Blessed Emmanuel Nwachukwu

P.R.O-Mr Okorie Wilson

Woman Leader- Mrs Franca Mathew

While appreciating the services rendered by the immediate past committee members, Ikpeazu trongly advised the new members to ensure good sanitary and orderliness within the market environment.

The official Inauguration will take place on Friday, 20th January, 2023 by 12 noon at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Trade & Investment Abia State Nigeria.

Abians are hopeful that at the completion of this project, the state will wear a new look while the in high expectation that the cluster will be attracting more revenue for the state.

But regrettedly, Abians are not happy for the level of development Ikpeazu has brought to the state while measuring with that of other sister States in the South East zone. Abia State has continued to be rated as worst state ever.
