As the Nigeria Football Federation is making frantic efforts to harmonise the factionalised football supporters clubs in Nigeria and return them to one strong body, the founder and President of Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC) Prince Vincent Okumagba seems to be preparing to lead the new body.

Recent reports monitored from the glass house shows that plans are in top gear by the Nigerian football apex body to announce the name for the united body for the supporters club as all the big shots in all the various supporters clubs are showing favourable disposition to the peace move.

A source close to the Prince of the Okumagba dynasty of Delta State has confirmed to the sporting press that the CEO of Pixal Petroleum Ltd which is an independent marketer of petroleum products and one time Vice Chairman of IPMAN Lagos satellite depot is considering vying for the top position of the new supporters’ club body.

Okumagba, who has just returned from a working visit to Kwara State where he was warmly received by the executives of SESC, has Diploma in marketing from University of Lagos, and a BA English degree from Lagos State University.

The astute sport administrator, who was one time Acting Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters’ Club (NFSC) under the able leadership of Dr Rafiu Ladipo as Chairman between 2013 to 2015 before he left to establish Super Eagles Supporters Club of Nigeria, and currently the President of the association as well as the Vice President of African Supporters Association.
