As aggrieved All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirants in Ondo State await the decision of the Appeal committee on the recent concluded primary election, there are indications that one of them, Chief Olusola Oke, is set to dump the party.
Sources within Oke’s camp disclosed that the former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member, who decamped to the APC after the Presidential election is already in talk with the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA) and the Peoples Party of Nigeria, (PPN).
Oke, with another aspirant, Mr. Segun Abraham and the APC chairman in Ondo North East, Mr. Akintunde Temitope have petition the party’s appeal committee allegeding fraud in the primary which was won by Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.
They particularly alleged that the delegates list used was padded, therefore, called for a fresh exercise.
The sources said that Oke has made up his mind to dump the party and cross to any of these parties if the committee fails to call for a fresh election.
When contacted, his media aide, Rotimi Ogunleye said they are still waiting for the outcome of the committee before they make any decision.
He, however, reiterated the commitment of Oke to the APC.
